A Swap Execution Facility (SEF), also known as a Swaps Execution Facility, is an electronic platform that facilitates the trading of financial swaps between eligible participants. It features pre–trade information such as bid and offer prices, as well as a mechanism for executing transactions.

OTC (Over The Counter) business is the buying and selling of financial products directly between two parties, without going through a traditional exchange or intermediary.
